Working on .... Digital Clock 2.0

Almost 2 years since the last upgrade. There are many desired new features such as:

  • Compile in mono.
  • Display in AM/PM mode or military mode.
  • Timezone detection for Europe and other sites. Currently only detected for U.S. and can fail if LL decides put servers in another region of the planet.
  • Refactorize, separate the core script in two or more scripts, one for the clock and other for display. This will allow me to have the same script in different types of clock (analog, digital, ...)
  • More textures for digits. Currently there are four.
  • Substitute commands chat by dialog boxes.



In the photo the 1.1 digital clock at the left, (the prim have 3 faces in one side), and the new with 5 faces in the same side. Do you have a suggestion for improvement?. Any new feature?, this is the time for inclusion.

Update - Hand Grenade.

The 2.0 version of Hand Grenade is now in the vendors and XStreetSL. If you have one of my affiliate vendors, you see the change within 24 hours. If you have my Hand Grenade,
You will receive an update next time you use it.

Changes:

  • Better animation. Now is much more realistic because it is a animation made exclusively for throwing grenades.
  • Four kinds of explosions selectable via chat commands. (Safe, Shrapnel, Push and Damage).
  • Sculted grenade with only 5 prims.
  • Throw speed selectable.
  • Can be throw with command chat.

New: The Egg NPV

This is my first version of EGG NPV. One easy to use Non Physical Vehicle.


This first version do not have many features compared with others NPV (for example do not have reflect). In the next versions i will add features existing in my "Evil Reaper" HUD except weapons.

The next step is create one full SIM radar and integrate it in the Evil Reaper HUD and in this HUD.

New: Ugly store skybox

This is the skybox that i installed in my land and i decide to sell.



You can found it in Xstreet SL

The aspect of this skybox is similar to the skyscraper that i dismantling. Maybe i can make the elevator of the skyscraper in a commercial product, but needs much work.

New: Orbital Station

This is my new Skybox. Almost all prefabs space station in SecondLife that i've seen are buildings to live or to game playing. This building is multipurpose, you can use it as an office or as a store or as your home, ...



The sphere around the orbital station is optional, you can rezz or derezz using the control panel. The control panel permits change the tint, texture and color of walls.

Expansion of the sandbox

The Sandbox of Venufalat has been expanded from the 4096 sqm to 16384 sqm. The JJ's Store has been moved has been moved 64 meters south and has been reduced in size. I am dismantling the skyscraper and moving in different sections to locate in skybox at 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 meters of altitude. This will reduce the client lag because there are fewer objects to Rezz.

New: The All Terrain Building

There is a new prefab for sale. You can found it in Xstreetsl. The outward appearance is nothing special, and you can found many squared with corners rounded buildings in Secondlife.



However, this building has something special: I have added the first version of a very powerful control panel. This control panel implements one idea never seen before in SecondLife. With this control panel i can select or deselect individual prims or one set of prims for change texture, color and transparency. A building can be converted into an authentic chameleon and owner can add more textures.

In this version, the control panel is equipped with one parcel radio and access control. In the next versions i will add security systems, visit counter, greeter, notecard and landmark giver, ...

Classic Cannon 1.1 Update.

If you have purchased my classic cannon and you have rezzez, you will receive an update before of 24 hours. Otherwise just rezz the object "Classic Cannon 1.0" to receive an update.



Changes in this version:
  • Use of sculpted prims.
  • Scripts recompiled to mono.
There are pending changes in the bullet for the next version 1.2.

In the next photo you can see the new version of "Classic Cannon":


I changed the barrel with one sculpted barrel and the wheels with sculpted wheels. I seize the opportunity to recompile all scripts in mono.net and perhaps adds more type of explosions.

Evil Reaper v 1.3.5 in the Updater Server.

If you have one old Evil Reaper 1.0.5 rezz it and in one moment you will receive the new version 1.3.5.

This version is very incomplete, but even so, it is much better than the old version 1.0.5

What remains to be done?. The most evident at the moment is:
  • The radar should send probes to detect any avatar in an entire region. These probes must be very smart to deal with land not allow the entry of or do not have execute permissions for scripts.
  • HUD must operate in areas that do not allow execution of scripts. Currently, it does, but only works with scripts that are on the main prim. Fortunately I know how to solve.

Released "Bubble Wall"

Bubble Wall is in Xstret SL and in my vendors from ago various minutes. If you have rezzed the "JJ Store" affiliate vendor you can click the vendor and select update for see the new product.

But, what is Bubble Wall?. Bubble wall is similar to BubbleWrap and you can found one in flash here

Bubble Wall is one rezzer of square bubble bricks working with command chat. You can decide how many bricks per column rezz and how many columns rezz.

Working in the new version of Evil Reaper

I developing the Evil Reaper 2.0. There are big changes in the new Evil Reaper. The NPV engine has been completely rewritten. The movement remains as smooth, but I have partly solved the problem by crossing a SIM. (see http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4196).



Another big change is the improvement of HUD. In the photo you can see one of the four sides of HUD. Yes, the 3D buttons are the GIMP buttons. I implemented too combo-box controls for select weapons and bullets ans sliders for select speed.

There is still much work to do but try to send an alpha version as soon as possible.
