New EGG NPV version

Although there are still many improvements pending, i released a new version of EGG NPV. In this new version i added seven new vehicles to HUD.

In future versions will be possible to add new vehicles created by the user as well as many improvements such as reflection, teleporting and avoid followers. Actually is possible to add new vehicles by the user in this release, but I did not create a manual explaining how to do

The new version is on the vendors and in marketplace, where you can see photos of almost all vehicles.

Venufalat's day of independence

Venufalat has been freed from the scourge of mini plots. Ago less of half hour i purchased the last mini plot of 32 sqm. This mini plot has been used occasionally by grieffers kicked in the region as a lookout for attacks from other neighboring regions. Their disappearance is an increase in security.

New textures in the store.

This weekend i developed a lot of textures and i uploaded 5 sets:
  • Gradient textures. 21 textures.
  • Grid alpha textures. 10 textures.
  • Mosaic textures. 11 textures
  • Light textures. 14 textures.
  • Centered gradient textures. 8 textures.
All textures are made with GIMP. The price of textures is 2 L$ for every texture, ie, if one set have 10 textures, the final price is 20 L$.

Freebies updated

Some of my freebies of SET-1 has been updated. They are:

  • Big Panel: This version only use one script.
  • Swing Boxed: It has many improvements. Easy installation, very smooth movement thanks to the new lsl function llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast(), and now work in any orientation.
  • Lamppost boxed: Added glow and particles when.
  • GiroLoco: This version work in any orientation.
  • Parcel Prim Stats 2.0: This is one of my freebies that can be found in many stores and freebies sites in all grid. This new version is more resistant to false timeouts due lag.
  • Hackindex skybox: Less primitives, less scripts and now can go to 4000 m of altitude.
In the SET-2 there are one new building.

The Cube added to vendors and MarketPlace

"The Cube" is the building that i using now as a main building in "JJ Store". You can see it teleporting to my store, or in Xstreet SL. The textures of "The Cube" are the same that the used in "The Pyramid" and have very similar external appearance.

Mall ampliation

Venufamall is now more bigger, with 4096 sqm of land more. In the next photo you can see at the right the old mall with modern style, and at the left the new 15 stores with medieval style.

The JJ Store has been moved to the corner with my very last model of building. Perhaps in a future the mall will be ampliated with other style of store and JJ Store displaced to the north.

Hard to texturize

This is my "new" Skybox, or rather, not so new. It was made in the 2008 for self use in the "Cleary" region. Earlier this year i decide to reduce the number of prims using huge-prims and re-texturize using one metal texture.

The problem is that the texture is not flat, it has pictures that have to match. The problem is compounded when you have very large prims with smaller ones, different shapes and rotations. In this photo you can see how texture is alignment with the border.

New Building

Several months ago I spent a lot of money on a lot of textures from different manufacturers. Although he had not had a chance to use them until now. The result is this building that I just put on the servers.

In fact, there are three pyramids with small differences between them. In an earlier version, I put a ramp with many primitives so that each primitive had a script, when an avatar trod a primitive, this was going on with a beep, and glow light. But I finally decided that these are many scripts and primitives, and I put in place a megaprim.

But I could not resist the temptation to add light, glow and random sounds to the internal teleporters. Unfortunately, teleportation is as fast as the avatar they are using will not see the flash of light and glow, but he can hear the sound.

Usually the best way to maximize space is to use a cubic shape, with variations in any dimension. The shape of the pyramid is very inefficient, and when someone wants to use a pyramid is more for aesthetic reasons than functional, so I had a lot more care than usual selecting textures.

Big changes in JJ Store

In recent days i have removed all skyboxes from JJ Store. I removed too almost 60% of affiliate vendors and i completely removed several sections (scify, music, clothes) ...

Survivors affiliate vendors has been moved to new buildings in ground level. there are three new buildings at north of Venufalat region.

And other big building at east of region.

Before these changes also eliminated two buildings that was not used in the freebies section.

Update "Voting System"

The 2.0 version of voting system is in the vendors, xstreetsl and in the updater. Like the last updates the number of scripts has been reduced to 1, removing all scripts from buttons and LED-Bars.

The capacity has been increased from 100 to 700 voters. Namely when the voter number 701 try to vote, the first is removed from list.

I created too one futuristic vote machine, more nice that the old.

More Updates "script limits"

There are two new updates:

  • Column Lava Lamp. This object do not have updater script, but you can receive one update using the redeliver terminal in my store.
  • Visual SIM Time Dilation and FPS meter. This object is now in the update server. if you have one rezed in world you will receive one update in the next 24 hours. The script inside in this object is of type "timer", checking one update every 24 hours, this means that if you rezz one now you will receive the update 24 hours later.

EGG NPV Update.

Big changes in the EGG NPV. Features are the same but i reduced the number of scripts to 2 in the HUD, and one of then is the hippotech updater script.

I reduced too the number of scripts in the NPV vehicle. Now the EGG NPV is OK with the coming scripts limits.

Minor changes in ER-HUD

There are one new version of ER-HUD in the update server. The new version is the 1.4.8, the vehicle is the same of old version. The main change is substitute llSetLinkPrimitiveParams() for llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast() and use the new parameter PRIM_TEXT for remove one script in one child primitive.

Venufa-Mall - New Look

Hi, I have been working in recent days to improve Venufa-Mall, my shopping center in the region Venufalat. The result is that you can see in the following photo:

There are three stores of 300 L$/week for 200 prims ans the rest are of 150 L$ for 100 prims.

Evil Reaper HUD. New update.

I've been working several weeks in the Evil Reaper HUD with the aim of reducing the number of scripts and reduce lag. I deleted all the scripts of the buttons, combo box, and map and have centralized all in the main prim. Thus I have managed to reduce the number of scripts from 69 to 7. Collaterally, have eliminated the need for the vast majority of linked messages and the HUD works much faster. Even when there is lag.

The new version is the 1.4.5. The list of changes is here:

* Reduced the number of scripts in HUD from 69 to only 7. The Milliseconds reduced from 0.7 to 0.1. (Measured in one void SIM)

* Almost all functions in HUD work now in no script zone.

* ADDED support for Emerald radar.

* ADDED Reflect and Follow. Only in the same SIM.

* ADDED Panic options.

* Resolved bug in followers that permits to return with one trick.

* REMOVED the sound in push attack.

* Changed all warpPos() with safeJumpPos() in vehicle and followers.

This version is still work in progress. The next objective is reduce the number of prims.
